This collection was created for the CFDA guidelines for 2022. When trying to ideated I knew I wanted to create a collection surrounding summer and the movie Call Me By Your Name. Having an emotional connection to this movie strengthen my understanding the style of Italy in the 80s, while brining in modern ideas supporting sustainability and the longevity of clothes. Call Me By Your Swimsuit takes the vintage cotton t-shirts that you loved so much and turns them into a bathing suit. This changes the life of your used t-shirts , but also reduces the amount of micro-plastics being deposited in the ocean. The structure of these garments are integral in creating a useful, well-made, and long last garment.
